Sanan Optoelectronics and STMicroelectronics' joint venture plans to produce 480,000 automotive-grade MOSFET power chips per year

Sanan Optoelectronics and international semiconductor giant STMicroelectronics jointly established an automotive-grade power chip manufacturing company with a planned total investment of US$3.2 billion. After reaching full production, the company will reach an output level of 10,000 8-inch silicon carbide MOSFET chips per week, and will be able to produce 480,000 8-inch silicon carbide automotive-grade MOSFET power chips per year, which is at the leading level in the industry.
