Silectric Semiconductor invests 2.9 billion to build new SiC factory

Silectric Semiconductor plans to build its first semiconductor manufacturing plant in Karnataka, India, specializing in the integrated production of silicon carbide. The project is expected to invest 34.26 billion rupees (about 2.9 billion yuan) and will add about 460 jobs. The company will focus on building a silicon carbide production line, including the manufacturing and packaging of ingots, MOSFETs and modules.
