Introduction to the Lightbeam Automotive Joint Venture

Beam Automotive was jointly established by BMW Group and Great Wall Motors in December 2019, with the two parties holding a 50:50 stake, and BMW (Netherlands) Holding is the actual controller. The company started construction of a plant in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, with a total investment of 5.1 billion yuan and an annual standard production capacity of 160,000 vehicles.
