Tesla and Panasonic partner to invest 25.13 billion yuan in the United States to build a battery recycling plant

Tesla and Panasonic partner Redwood Materials invested $3.5 billion (about 25.13 billion yuan) in South Carolina to build a battery recycling plant, which is the second battery recycling plant in the United States led by JB Straubel. The plant will be used to recycle, refine and manufacture positive and negative electrode components, similar to the plant in Nevada.
