Schaeffler plans to build new electric vehicle parts factory in the U.S.

German auto parts supplier Schaeffler announced that it will invest approximately $230 million to build a new electric vehicle parts plant in Ohio, USA. The plant will focus on the production of key components such as electric axles for light and medium-sized electric vehicles. The plant is located in Dover, Ohio, about 128 kilometers from Cleveland. Construction is expected to begin in the middle of this year. The first phase of the project covers an area of ​​approximately 12,077 square meters and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
