Luna Innovations acquires Silixa for $21.5 million

Luna Innovations, a global leader in fiber optic technology, announced a strategic acquisition of Silixa, a UK leader in distributed fiber optic sensing solutions, for $21.5 million. The acquisition will strengthen Luna's position in the fiber optic sensing market and enhance its capabilities in distributed acoustic sensing (DAS), distributed temperature sensing (DTS) and distributed strain sensing (DSS).
