Stellantis announces adoption of Tesla charging standard in North America

On February 13, Stellantis announced that it will adopt the SAE standard J3400 connector, which is Tesla's charging standard in North America, starting in 2025. During the transition period, Stellantis will provide adapters for vehicles equipped with a combined charging system (CCS) port. At present, most North American automakers such as Ford, Lincoln, GM, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, etc. have chosen to connect to Tesla's fast charging network, and other automakers have also adopted Tesla's charging standards.
