Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued new regulatory conditions for the comprehensive utilization of waste power batteries for new energy vehicles, aiming to improve technical requirements, strengthen safety and environmental protection responsibilities, and promote the high-quality development of the industry. The regulatory conditions set clear requirements for the scale, production capacity and technical indicators of power batteries, including registered capital, paid-in capital, and production capacity requirements for cascade utilization and recycling. At the same time, the technical indicators were optimized, new standards and specifications were introduced, and new requirements for lithium-ion batteries for electric bicycles were added. In addition, the regulatory conditions also refined the safety and environmental protection requirements to ensure the standardized development of the industry.
