China's new energy vehicle ownership exceeds 20 million, and the construction of charging piles needs to be accelerated

By the end of 2023, China's new energy vehicle ownership has reached 20.41 million. It is expected that in 2024, the market penetration rate of new energy vehicles will reach 40%, with monthly sales expected to exceed 1 million vehicles and annual sales expected to reach 13 million vehicles. However, the average monthly growth in the number of charging piles is only 75,000, far below the industry-recognized "1:3" reasonable pile-to-vehicle ratio.
