GM to invest $7 billion in three Ultium Cell battery factories

GM has invested more than $7 billion in three Ultium Cells factories, including one near Lansing, Michigan, that is expected to start production in the fourth quarter. The plants will have a capacity of 50 gigawatt-hours when fully operational.
