Silectric Semiconductor invests 2.9 billion to build a new SiC factory in India

Silectric Semiconductor plans to build its first semiconductor manufacturing plant in Karnataka, India, specializing in the production of silicon carbide. The project is expected to invest 34.26 billion rupees (about 2.9 billion yuan) and add about 460 jobs. Silectric Semiconductor said that the base will focus on building silicon carbide production lines, including the manufacturing and packaging of ingots, MOSFETs and modules.
