Japan and the EU promote AEB regulations and policies

Countries and regions such as Japan and the European Union are actively promoting AEB-related regulations and policies. For example, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan stipulates that new and modified models launched in Japan must be equipped with AEB from 2021. In addition, a resolution of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has also been agreed by about 40 countries and regions, planning to force the introduction of AEB for new cars from 2022.
