The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce recently announced the catalogue of advantageous industries for foreign investment in the central and western regions in the Catalogue of Industries Encouraged for Foreign Investment. The catalogue covers advantageous industries in many provinces, including key development industries in Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, etc. These industries are mainly concentrated in the fields of auto parts manufacturing, new energy vehicle power battery and system research and development, and non-ferrous metal deep processing.
