US lithium producer Lithium Americas receives huge loan

U.S. lithium producer Lithium Americas has received a $2.26 billion (about 16.25 billion yuan) loan from the U.S. Department of Energy. The funds will be used to support the construction of processing facilities at its Thacker Pass lithium project in Humboldt County, Nevada.
