CATL launches skateboard chassis to accelerate electric vehicle manufacturing process

Contemporary Amperex Technology, a subsidiary of CATL, showcased its latest product, a technology called "skateboard chassis", at the Rock Chassis Launch Conference on December 24. This chassis uses battery-chassis integration technology to integrate the battery cells directly into the chassis, sharing the chassis structure. In this way, automakers can easily produce sedans or SUVs after defining the product, thus achieving freedom in car manufacturing.
