Recently, the research team of Professor Wang Jun, CTO of Everbright Huaxin and Sichuan University, successfully developed a 780nm wide-strip distributed feedback (DFB) laser, achieving a major breakthrough of more than 10W continuous output power at room temperature. The laser uses InGaAsP/InGaP materials, and solves the problems of excessive spectral width and poor wavelength stability of traditional Fabry-Pérot (FP) lasers by optimizing grating design and material growth. This achievement not only brings new possibilities for scientific and industrial applications, but also provides a technical reference for the design of lasers in other bands.
