BMW Group invests 1.6 billion baht in new battery assembly plant

BMW Group is investing 1.6 billion baht (about 42 million euros) in a new battery assembly plant in Thailand, of which 1.4 billion baht will be used to purchase state-of-the-art equipment and systems. The new plant will start producing pure electric vehicle batteries in the second half of 2025 to support the Thai and ASEAN markets.
