CATL and Dongfeng Motor Corporation deepen strategic cooperation

As early as 2016, CATL signed its first strategic cooperation agreement with Dongfeng Motor Corporation in Wuhan, laying a solid foundation for the cooperation between the two parties in the field of new energy. In 2018, the two parties announced the establishment of a joint venture, Dongfeng Times (Wuhan) Battery System Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 100 million yuan, with each party holding 50% of the shares. In 2020, CATL and Dongfeng Motor Corporation signed a framework agreement to deepen strategic cooperation to further deepen strategic cooperation. In addition, Dongfeng Motor Corporation's Zhixin Technology, Dongfeng Changxing, and Dongfeng Hongtai have signed a number of sub-agreements with CATL and Guangdong Brunp respectively.
