CATL is involved in energy storage systems and recycling business

In addition to power batteries, energy storage systems and recycling are key new businesses that CATL is gradually accumulating strength in. In January 2023, CATL, Hunan Brunp Recycling, GEM and Mercedes-Benz announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation to jointly carry out a power battery closed-loop recycling project; in May of the same year, CATL released the world's first zero-auxiliary source photovoltaic storage fusion solution; in August of the same year, its 5MWh EnerD series liquid-cooled energy storage prefabricated cabin system achieved the world's first mass production delivery.
