Another car company is developing its own batteries

On January 10, Shengxin Lithium Energy signed a "Lithium Hydroxide Supply Contract" with Hyundai Motor, and will supply lithium hydroxide products to Hyundai Motor from 2024 to 2027. Hyundai Motor plans to develop its own LFP batteries.
