The coverage rate of charging piles in highway service areas across the country will reach 95%.

By the end of 2023, 6,328 highway service areas across the country have built charging facilities, accounting for 95% of the total number of highway service areas. Among them, highway service areas in 15 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, and Anhui, have all been equipped with charging capabilities. However, during peak periods, these charging facilities still cannot meet the needs of car owners.
