The Hubei provincial government said that with the rapid development of new energy vehicles, the use of lithium batteries has increased significantly, which has brought challenges to environmental protection. In response to this problem, Hubei Province has begun to plan and start the recycling of waste lithium batteries in advance. For example, the 60 billion yuan investment in the Brunp Integrated Recycling Industrial Park project aims to transform waste lithium batteries into valuable resources. It is expected that after the project is completed, the annual output value will exceed 100 billion yuan.
