FAW Hongqi SiC electric drive rolls off mass production line

In March, FAW Hongqi New Energy Powertrain Division held a ceremony for the mass production of Hongqi PB85 battery and M220-220 SiC electric drive. As the core assembly of Hongqi HME platform, these two products will match five new energy main sales models such as EH7, E202 and E702. FAW Hongqi also revealed that the first A prototype of the M190/M220 dual-motor electric drive project has been successfully trial-produced and rolled off the assembly line, marking the birth of FAW's first torque vector dual motor. The M190/M220 dual-motor project is based on the full range of high-voltage platforms, SiC power modules, and flat wire four-motor torque vector electric drive assemblies that are upgraded and innovated by the M190/M220 platform technology, achieving ultra-high performance, ultimate control and safety.
