Hechuang Automobile was formerly known as GAC Aion and is now renamed Hechuang Automobile

The predecessor of Hycan Auto was a company jointly established by GAC New Energy (i.e. GAC Aion) and NIO in 2018, named GAC NIO. As the market competition landscape changed, NIO withdrew, and the company introduced Zhujiang Investment Management Group as a new partner and changed its name to Hycan Auto.
