Zhejiang Shunhua Lithium Industry Co., Ltd.'s waste lithium iron phosphate battery resource efficient recycling project

Zhejiang Shunhua Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. plans to build a waste lithium iron phosphate battery resource efficient recycling project at the junction of Yangqingqiao Village, Lingdong Township, Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province and Gengtoufan. The project is expected to invest 615.5798 million yuan and will include a production line for the dismantling of scrapped batteries and the crushing and sorting of pole pieces, which can process 18,600 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate battery pole pieces and 21,000 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate battery cells annually, as well as a system for recycling and producing battery-grade lithium carbonate for the annual processing of 32,581.46 tons of lithium iron phosphate waste. The project is expected to be publicized for environmental impact assessment in April 2024.
