Guangxi Jiuzhou Meichuang Investment Co., Ltd.'s waste lithium iron phosphate battery recycling and comprehensive utilization project

Guangxi Jiuzhou Meichuang Investment Co., Ltd. plans to build a waste lithium iron phosphate battery recycling and comprehensive utilization project in the New Materials High-tech Industrial Park in Luchuan County, Guilin, Guangxi. The project is expected to invest 450 million yuan and will include a production line that can process 100,000 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate batteries and 20,000 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate cathode sheets annually. The main products are lithium iron phosphate battery powder and lithium iron phosphate cathode powder, and the by-products are copper powder and aluminum powder. The project is expected to obtain environmental impact assessment approval in April 2024.
