1GW green hydrogen plant at Esbjerg Port, Denmark receives environmental approval

The 1GW green hydrogen project plant at the Port of Esbjerg in Denmark has received environmental approval. The plant is being developed by H2 Energy and Plug Power plans to supply 50 proton exchange membrane electrolyzers. It is scheduled to start operations in the second half of 2025.
