Microchip Technology and TSMC expand cooperation to strengthen supply chain resilience

Microchip Technology Inc. announced that it has expanded its cooperation with TSMC to utilize the 40nm process capacity of Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing, Inc. (JASM), TSMC's wafer manufacturing subsidiary in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, to improve supply chain resilience. This move will help Microchip better serve customers in the global automotive, industrial and networking fields.
