90
After years of planning, GEM’s nickel resource project in Indonesia has achieved remarkable results. In 2023, the first phase of the project will ship 27,050 tons of metal throughout the year, with an overproduction rate of more than 30%. At present, the second phase of the project has been fully launched, increasing the nickel resource production capacity from the planned total of 123,000 tons to 150,000 tons. It is expected that by 2025, GEM's nickel resource self-sufficiency rate will reach more than 70%, and will achieve 100% complete self-sufficiency after 2027.
