Samsung Electro-Mechanics and LG Innotek look to glass substrates as new growth drivers

Samsung Electro-Mechanics and LG Innotek also see glass substrates as a new growth driver and have begun to invest in production. Samsung Electro-Mechanics officially announced its entry into the glass substrate market at CES 2024 held in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States in January. The industry expects prototype production to begin in 2025 and full-scale mass production to begin in 2026.
