Jiangsu Changdian Technology acquires Western Digital's packaging and testing business for RMB 4.5 billion

Jiangsu Changdian Technology Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Changdian Technology Management Co., Ltd. intends to acquire 80% of the equity of SanDisk Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a packaging and testing company under Western Digital, for US$624 million (approximately RMB 4.5 billion) in cash. The two parties have signed the "Equity Acquisition Agreement" and the breach of contract breakup fee is US$10 million.
