Great Wall Motors and BMW's joint venture, Beam Automotive, obtains independent production qualification

Lightbeam Automotive, a joint venture between Great Wall Motors and BMW, has obtained independent production qualifications in December 2023, marking an important step for the company on the road to mass production. It is reported that Lightbeam Automotive's first product, the pure electric boutique car MINI, will be launched in 2024 and supplied to the global market.
