TSMC joins hands with Broadcom and Nvidia to develop new silicon photonics technology products

TSMC is working with major customers Broadcom and Nvidia to develop new products based on silicon photonics technology. The research and development of this technology is aimed at meeting the growing demand for data transmission and computing performance while addressing the challenges of Moore's Law. The new products are expected to start mass production in 2025.
