China's FAW Group applies for patent on multiple redundant braking system for self-driving cars

China First Automobile Co., Ltd. applied for a patent titled "A multiple redundant braking system, self-inspection method and vehicle for an autonomous driving vehicle" in November 2023. The patent aims to achieve triple redundancy of the braking function during autonomous driving.
