Pony.ai plans to gradually carry out road tests and commercial pilots for autonomous driving in Beijing's intelligent connected vehicle policy pilot zone. Previously, the company was approved in July 2021 to conduct highway tests for passenger cars and trucks in Beijing, and to conduct tests on six Beijing highways and urban expressways that were opened in stages.
