Possibility of Panasonic building a battery manufacturing plant in India

In July 2023, it was reported that Panasonic had held talks with senior Indian government officials to consider building a battery manufacturing plant in India. The new plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of 20GWh and can provide batteries for approximately 400,000 electric vehicles.
