The world's first 6-inch InP wafer fab is launched

Coherent announced that it has established the world's first 6-inch indium phosphide (InP) wafer production line to expand InP production capacity and reduce costs in Europe and the United States. This move will help reduce the chip cost of InP optoelectronic devices such as lasers, detectors and electronic products, and promote the development of related application scenarios.
