Tesla's lidar sensor uses spark speculation

There is no clear answer as to what exactly the lidar sensors Tesla purchased will be used for, but some speculate that they could be used in Tesla's upcoming self-driving taxi "Cybercab" or in Tesla's humanoid robot Optimus.
