CATL pledges to supply 123GWh of electric vehicle batteries to Honda by 2030

Honda plans to purchase 123GWh of electric vehicle batteries from China's CATL over the next seven years. This cooperation agreement is further consolidated on the basis of the comprehensive strategic agreement signed by the two companies in 2020. The agreement covers multiple aspects such as joint development, stable supply, recycling and reuse of batteries. These batteries will be produced at CATL's Yichun plant to support Honda's electric vehicle business development in China.
