CATL starts construction of new battery production base in Luoyang

On September 28, CATL held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new new energy battery production base (Zhongzhou Times) in Luoyang, Henan. The base covers an area of ​​1,700 acres, with a total investment of no more than 14 billion yuan. With Luoyang's industrial base and geographical advantages in the central and western regions, CATL plans to expand its market share in the region. At the same time, CATL will work with the Luoyang government to promote the development of the new energy industry, including the introduction of upstream and downstream enterprises, the development of new energy power generation projects, and the promotion of battery replacement models. The goal is to create a competitive national new energy industry cluster and enhance Luoyang's position in the new energy market.
