BYD considers developing its own automotive image sensors to control the supply chain and reduce costs

In order to better control the supply chain and reduce competitive costs, BYD, a major player in the automotive industry, is negotiating acquisitions with certain lens manufacturers and considering developing its own automotive image sensors. BYD was originally a supplier of CMOS products for mobile phones of many Android brands, so technology transfer is relatively easy.
