Novo Energy plans to build a 16GWh sodium-ion battery production base in Anqing

On April 16, the annual production of 16GWh sodium-ion energy storage battery production base project invested by Anqing Nuofang Energy Storage was approved by the Development and Reform Commission of Anqing Daguan District, with a total investment of 5.07 billion yuan. The project is expected to start in 2024 and be completed and put into production in 2026. Anqing Nuofang Energy Storage was established on April 8, 2024 with a registered capital of 10 million yuan. It is a subsidiary of Nuofang International Group.
