BYD considers building factory in Mexico to reduce tariffs

BYD is considering opening a factory in Mexico to take advantage of tariff benefits from the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement, which would reduce tariffs on its products in the U.S. market from 27.5% to 2.5%, making it more competitive with Chinese-made electric vehicles.
