Northvolt builds a "super factory" in Germany, expecting to produce batteries for 1 million electric vehicles per year

Swedish battery company Northvolt has invested in a "super factory" in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, which is expected to start production in 2026. The total investment in the factory is about 4.5 billion euros, and it can produce enough batteries to supply 1 million electric vehicles each year.
