JieDeng Group invests 5.3 billion to build energy storage base

On April 8, Pujiang County, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, signed an investment agreement with Jiangsu Jiedeng Holding Group. Jiedeng Group plans to invest approximately 5.3 billion yuan to build a system integration production base project with an annual output of "10GWh battery cells + 10GWh energy storage". The project is divided into two phases. After full production, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of 12 billion yuan and annual tax payment of 360 million yuan. Jiedeng Group is the major shareholder of the listed company Baoxin Technology. In 2022, Baoxin Technology crossed over to the new energy photovoltaic industry. In March this year, the 6GW photovoltaic N-type heterojunction battery cell and 6GW photovoltaic module production base invested by it started construction with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. Ma Wei, chairman of Jiedeng Group, said that the launch of the new energy storage project in Pujiang this time is an important milestone for the group to move towards the integrated strategic layout of "light storage, charging, replacement and inspection".
