Toyota plans to launch five new battery types

Toyota plans to launch five new battery types by 2030, including a bipolar lithium iron phosphate battery, which is expected to be available in 2026 or 2027. This battery will have a 20% longer range than the current bZ4X battery and cost 40% less.
