BYD's global sales will exceed 3 million units in 2023, becoming the global champion in new energy vehicle sales

In 2023, BYD's annual sales reached 3.024 million units, a year-on-year increase of 61.9%, successfully achieving the sales target of 3 million units set at the beginning of the year. This achievement enabled BYD to surpass Tesla for the first time and become the global sales champion of new energy vehicles. BYD's sales include pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles, among which pure electric vehicle sales increased by 73% to 1.57 million units, and plug-in hybrid vehicle sales increased by 52% to 1.438 million units.
