ASPICE 4.0 is officially released, bringing new standards for software development in the automotive industry

After a year of warm-up, ASPICE 4.0 was finally officially released on November 29, 2023. This new version aims to solve some of the problems faced by ASPICE 3.1, such as being too dogmatic and cumbersome. ASPICE 4.0 focuses more on realistic automotive software development models, including hardware engineering, verification and validation concepts, and expands machine learning related content in the field of autonomous driving. In addition, it also pays more attention to practicality and agility, such as replacing work products with information items as evaluation indicators, and removing some overly standardized process domains or indicators.
