CATL's skateboard chassis technology helps OEMs reduce costs and accelerate vehicle model development

CATL's subsidiary, Contemporary Amperex Technology's skateboard chassis technology is expected to help automakers reduce costs and speed up vehicle development. This technology allows automakers to launch a new vehicle within 18 months, significantly shortening the time from 36 to 48 months previously. In addition, multiple models can share a skateboard chassis platform, reducing the initial cost of vehicle development.
