Evonik Industries invests $7.9 million to build a plant in the United States to produce ultra-high purity colloidal silica

Evonik Industries, a leading specialty chemicals company, announced that it will invest US$7.9 million from 2023 to 2024 to build a new plant for the production of ultra-high purity colloidal silica for semiconductor chemical mechanical polishing at its plant in Weston, Michigan, USA. The plant is expected to be put into production in 2024.
